Marcia’s Obituary Marcia M. Prebis, of Hilltown Twp. , PA, and formerly of New Britain, CT, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019, in Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. She was 70.

She was the wife of Leonard A. Prebis. The couple had celebrated their 46th Wedding Anniversary on November 17, 2018. Born in New Britain, CT, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Charlotte (Pajor) Lipka.

She was a 1966 graduate of New Britain Senior High School. Mrs. Prebis was employed as a customer service representative for Tyndale, Inc., Pipersville, PA, for 11 years until retiring in 2018. Previously, she worked for Accu-Sort Systems, Telford, PA, for 20 years.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hilltown, PA. An avid reader, she especially enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening. Her greatest joy was in supporting and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving with her husband are a son, Mark Prebis and his wife Sarah, of Hilltown, PA; three grandchildren, Dillon, Molly and Juliette; two brothers, Joseph Lipka and his wife Carol, of Cape Cod, MA, and Michael Lipka and his wife Karen, of Bristol, CT; and a sister, Charlotte Lipka, of Newington, CT. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Leonard, Daniel and William Lipka. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 100 Broad Street, Perkasie (Hilltown), PA.

Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may call Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Bernard Suess Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA, or Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1617 JFK Boulevard, Suite 700, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
