MULLEN—Mardell, 94, Laurel View Village, formerly of Upper Yoder Township, died March 14, 2019, at Laurel View Village. Born October 8, 1924, in Windber, daughter of Harry and Viola (Shilling) Beckley. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Gerald Mullen, brother, Bill Beckley; and sisters, Ida Mae Denny, Ora Beckley and Eunice Smith.

Survived by daughters, Cindy Mullen, Johnstown; and Kris Moore and husband, Russ, East Greenwich, RI; grandchildren, Kristin Weinzierl and husband, Brad Best, Cumberland, B.C.; Matthew Weinzierl, Fitchburg, WI; and Tom Moore and wife, Rachel, East Greenwich, RI; great-granddaughter, Becklen Best; grand-dogs, Sunny, Bailey and Tucker. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mardell was an avid golfer.

Longtime member of North Fork Golf Club. Was an avid bridge player and was involved with many local and out of town tournaments and couples groups. Member of Christ Lutheran Church, Elknud Lane.

Mardell was the last surviving member of her immediate family. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
