Dearing – Mrs. Margaret Greene, 95, widow of the late Mr. Willard Greene, entered into rest Wednesday, May 2, 2018, in Doctors Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Edison Colvin and Mrs. Merle Story Colvin. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, May 4, in Iron Hill Advent Christian Church Cemetery with Brother M. L. Barber officiating.

Mrs. Greene was a native of Lincoln County, but had lived in Dearing for many years. She was retired as a seamstress from Thomson Company and a member of Iron Hill Advent Christian Church. Mrs. Greene is survived by two daughters, Patsy Spear (Jay), Dearing and Gail Gay (David), Harlem; one sister, Louise Poss, Anchorage, Alaska; five grandchildren, Jeff Gay (Melissa), Scott Gay (Angie), Chad Gay, Steve Spear, James Spear (Stephanie); 8 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren Friends may call at the residence of Mrs. Margaret Greene or the Curtis Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends one prior to the service in the church fellowship hall. Curtis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
