Margaret Florence Anderson, age 98, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Park Manor Senior Community, located in Sherman, Texas. She was born on September 13, 1920 in Scobey, Montana and raised in small towns in Canada and Montana. In WWII she ventured out to Los Angles to help with the war effort.

There she met and married her beloved Andy Anderson. Andy’s job as a civilian working for the Airforce eventually brought them to Del Rio where they raised their children. After retirement they would sally forth from their home base in Vega Verde to Alaska and other parts of the American West.

When not on the road they would enjoy square dancing and rock hounding. Flo volunteered at the Val Verde county Library for more than 25 years. She and Andy were active members of Sacred Heart parish for many years.

She is survived by her five children; Francis, Allen, Andee Lea, Janette & Timothy; her 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be January 4, 2019 5:00-9:00 P.M. at G.W. Cox Memorial Funeral Home. A Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 10:00 A.M at Sacred Heart Church.
