Margaret S. Koscal 62, of Brick, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey. She was born Margaret Hoffmann on December 14, 1955 in Newark, New Jersey. She grew up in Hazlet, New Jersey and than moved to Brick, New Jersey after she married her husband, Jeffrey W. Koscal Sr. on November 4, 1978 where she remained to raise her family.

Margaret was a retired LPN and she was a school staff member at Holy Family School and Church in Lakewood, New Jersey for many years. She was predeceased by her parent, Thomas and Agnes (McAllister) Hoffmann and her sister, Donna Hoffmann. She is survived by her beloved husband, Jeffrey W. Koscal, Sr., her loving children, Amanda Dietrich and her husband, Matthew of Brick, New Jersey and Jeffrey W. Koscal, Jr. of Brick, New Jersey.

Margaret is also survived by her dear brother, Thomas C. Hoffmann Jr. of Hazlet, New Jersey, her mother-in-law, Charlotte Koscal of Ortley Beach, New Jersey, her sister-in-law, Jamie Ehlers and her husband, Rob of Howell, New Jersey. She also leaves behind her nieces, Bridget Ehlers and Jenna Hoffmann and her nephew, James Hoffmann. Margaret will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Thursday morning, May 31, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Prayer Service will be offered at the funeral home on Thursday morning, May 31, 2018 at approximately 10:15 AM. Interment will follow Thursday morning’s visitation at approximately 11:15 AM at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 360 Broadway, Keyport, New Jersey.
