Margarite “Dee” Auberry, 85, of Loretto, passed away Tuesday January 29, 2019 at Wedgewood Nursing Home in Clarksville, Indiana. She was born November 1, 1933 in Nelson County, a homemaker, and a member of Faith Worship Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Auberry; parents, Walter and Lillie Riggs; and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by five daughters, Brenda (Roy) Bartley, and Sheila (Kelly) Bowman both of Loretto, Debbie (Keith) Leake of Scottsburg, Indiana, Lisa Lyvers, and Kim (Kenny) Harrell both of Bardstown; three sons, Mike Auberry of Bardstown, Donald (Wahseka) Auberry of Loretto, and Tim (Dawn) Auberry of Frankfort; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rose (Milburn) Stillwell, and Doris Waltz both of Clarksville, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday February 1, 2019 at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in Bardstown Cemetery. Pastor Freddy Riggs will officiate.

Visitation will be 3 – 8 pm Thursday January 31 and 9 – 11 am Friday February 1 at Barlow Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may go to Hospice of Nelson County.
