Obituary for Margie Helen Goodman Margie Helen Goodman, 79, of Cecilia, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was born in Mt. Olive to Charlie Dudgeon and Velar Ray Dudgeon.

She was a homemaker, attended Rough Creek Baptist Church, and a member of the Rough Creek Critters Homemakers Club. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband of 50 years, Johnnie Ray Goodman, a daughter, Frankie Lynn Downs, a brother Donald Dudgeon, and two granddaughters,Maegan and Samantha Goodman. She is survived by three sons: Darrell (Novella) Goodman, Lawrence Dale (Candace) Goodman, Danny Ray (Maelynda) Goodman, all of Cecilia, three brothers: David, Gene, and Paul Dudgeon all of Eastview, four sisters: Romona Pierce of Eastview, Fay Smith of Eaton, GA, Sharon Ann Hilton of Cecilia, and Betty Cooley of Tar Hill, four grandchildren: Bradley (Kristina) Goodman, Melody (Mike) Hinton, Deserae (Josh) Bush, and Kathryn Goodman, four great-grandchildren: Anastasia, Isaiah, Ava, and Bryson, and two step-grandchildren: Tasha Goodman and Kelly (Tex) Gibson, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at Manakee Funeral Home of Elizabethtown on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Rev. John R. Clark and Rev. Jimmy Sutton officiating.

Burial will follow at the Pole Bridge Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, July 13, 2018 from 3:00 pm-8:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of service at the Manakee Funeral Home of Elizabethtown. Condolences may be expressed online at manakeefuneralhome.com.
