Maria Cioca, age 79, of Wilmington, OH, passed away Friday, October 19, 2018 at her home. She was born October 10, 1939 in Voivodeni Mici, Romania, daughter of Bitu and Silvia Rosu Bitu. Maria attended church at St. Columbkille Catholic Church.

Surviving are husband, Vasile Cioca of Wilmington, whom she married February18, 1962, two sons, Vasile “Mike” (Liliana) Cioca of Cincinnati, Sorin Cioca of Wilmington, neice, Mariana Tucaliuc of Wilmington, and a brother, Vasile Bitu. In addition to her parents, Maria was preceded in death by two brothers, Gheorghe Bitu, Ioan Bitu, and a sister, Silvia Urzich. Services will be held at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, October 24, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Rev.

Michael Holloran officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wednesday, October 24, 2018, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm.
