Patty Lou Morgan, age 75, of Hillsboro, passed away Friday, October 5, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born April 15, 1943 in Beefhide, Kentucky, daughter of Dewey Addington and Almeda Short Addington. Patty retired after 33 years of service working as a geriatric care nurse.

Surviving are son, Randy (Vanessa) Morgan of Fayetteville, daughter, Sheri (Jay) Prouty of Dayton, four grandchildren, Wesley (Kaitlyn) Morgan, Bryan (Jodi) Prouty, Elizabeth Ann Morgan, and Brad Prouty, and one great-grandson, Ozzy Morgan. Also surviving is her mother, Almeda Addington, two sisters, Sheila Smith, Myla (Phil) Thoma, sister-in-law, Patsy Morgan, two brothers-in-law, Charles (Ruby) Morgan, Tom (Norma) Morgan, and several nieces and nephews. Patty was preceded in death by her father, Dewey Addington and her husband, Herschel Glenn Morgan.

Services will be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Darel Messer officiating. Interment will follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home Tuesday, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm.
