Maria M. Soto, 67 of Edison, NJ passed away at St. Peters Medical Center on January 16, 2019. Born in San Sebastian, PR, Maria moved to Edison where she married her loving husband of 50 years, Jose Soto Sr She was a loving homemaker to her two children Carmen and Jose Soto Jr. Maria is preceded in death by her adored parents Manuel V. Valentin and Josefa (nee Arce).

She is survived by her adored husband Jose Soto Sr., loving children Carmen and Jose Soto Jr. and his wife Jasmin. Cherished sister of Maria N. Rosa and her husband Leonides, Cristobal Valentin and his wife Yohanni, Angel “Papo” Valentin and his wife Rosita and Aida Borrero and her husband Bonificio, beloved Grandmother of eight Grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 1 ~ 5pm at Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home.

We will begin to leave on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 9:15am for a Funeral Mass at 10am at Our Lady of Hungary Church. Interment will follow at Forest Green Memorial Park in Old Bridge, NJ. Arrangements are entrusted to Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay St, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.
