Marian (Shaner) Robbins, 86, of Hyde Park, PA, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Quality Life Services (West Haven) in Washington Twp. A daughter of the late Orbin D. Shaner Sr. and Myrtle (Young) Shaner, she was born April 24, 1932 in Gilpin Twp. , PA.

Marian was employed as a sales associate with the Ben Franklin Dept. Store for 15 years as well as M&M Laundry for 17 years before retiring in 2003. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Leechburg.

Marian enjoyed camping, reading, watching her game shows, bowling, playing card games and spending time with her family. Survivors include her son, Frank E. Robbins Jr. (Angie) of New Kensington, PA; two daughters, Joy Robbins of Hyde Park, PA and Cathy Troup (Kenneth) of Hyde Park, PA; three grandchildren, Dion, Angie and Jamie; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; two sisters, Hazel Spang and Jean Johns, both of Gilpin Twp. , PA; and three granddogs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank E. Robbins Sr. on October 10, 1992; a brother, Orbin D. Shaner Jr.; and a sister, Doris Johns. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051). Interment following at Greenwood Memorial Park, 104 Melwood Road, Lower Burrell.
