Nancy (Matson) Altman, 66, of Gilpin Twp. , PA, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot. A daughter of the late Blair Matson and Frances A. (Waltenbaugh) Matson, she was born August 11, 1951 in New Kensington, PA.

Nancy was employed at Cook Vascular for 14 years and had also worked as a medical assistant for Dr. Terrance Moore and Dr. James P. Moore for a few years before retiring in 2014. She was a member of Forks Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gilpin Twp. and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Nancy enjoyed baking, sewing, crocheting and reading. Survivors include husband, Louis Dale Altman of Gilpin Twp. , PA; a son, Paul Altman (Rochelle) of Leechburg, PA; a daughter, Michelle Altman of Gilpin Twp.

, PA; a granddaughter, Chloe Altman; a brother, Ronald Matson (Patricia) of Gilpin Twp. , PA; three sisters: Patricia Wilmot (Michael) of Apollo, PA, Cindy Moyer (Dean) of Watertown, NY, Christina Stewart (Joel) of Kirtland, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends welcomed by her family on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051) where funeral ceremonies will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, July 19, with Pastor Jerry Nuerenberger officiating.

Interment will be made at the convenience of her family at Forks Church Cemetery in Gilpin Twp.
