Patricia Jean Beer, 79, formerly of Leechburg, PA, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot, PA. A daughter of the late Ellsworth “Suss” Beer and Charlotte M. (Pfier) Beer, she was born March 20, 1939 in New Kensington, PA. Patricia was a homemaker and member of Hebron Evangelical Lutheran Church in Leechburg where she participated in the church choir and WELCA as well as serving as an acolyte and worship assistant.

She was a member of the Leechburg Community Choir, the Leechburg Museum and Historical Society, and the “Holy Hikers” Relay for Life team from her church. Patricia volunteered at the Leechburg Food Bank and the Meals on Wheels in Kepple Hill. She enjoyed listening to music, watching TV and working at the food bank.

Survivors include several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Beer; and sisters, Irene Frayer, Rose Bruner; and an infant sister, Marsha Beer. Friends welcomed by her family on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 10 AM until the time of services beginning at 11 AM at Hebron Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 Main St., Leechburg, with the Pastor Ryan Pusch officiating.

Interment following at Evergreen Cemetery, 620 Evergreen Road, Gilpin Twp. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Hebron Evangelical Lutheran Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051).
