Robert C. Richey, 68, of Leechburg, PA, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. A son of the late James D. Richey Sr. and Wanda M. (Myers) Richey, he was born July 14, 1950 in Tarentum, PA. Robert had been employed as a driver with Byers Bus Lines before retiring in 2012.

He was a member of the Church of God in Lower Burrell and the Leechburg Elks Lodge #377. Robert enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, fishing, hunting and socializing with family and friends. Survivors include his son, Cory Richey of Maryland; two daughters, Nicole Brewer (Donald) of Winchester, VA, and Robyn Shidemantle (Chad) of Reno, NV; four grandchildren: Austin and Kaleb Brewer, and Camryn and Chase Shidemantle; three brothers: James D. Richey Jr. (Shari) of Davidsonville, MD, Gary H. Richey (Stephanie) of Linwood, NJ, and Leslie A. Richey of Emporium, PA; friend and companion, Linda Stull of Leechburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be no public visitation or funeral ceremonies. Private interment will take place at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051).

Memorial donations in Robert’s name may be made to the Church of God, 273 Chester Drive, PO Box 2046, Lower Burrell, PA 15068; or to the National Stroke Association, 9707 E. Easter Lane, Suite B, Centennial, CO 80112.
