Obituary of Marianna Malyszko Marianna Malyszko, age 90, of Seymour, beloved wife of the late Leon Malyszko, died peacefully on December 25, 2018 at Griffin Hospital with her family by her side. Born in Kopciuwka, Poland on November 16, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Wicenty and Leonarda Sienkiewicz Zaniewski. Mrs. Malyszko was a home maker and worked as an assembler for the W.E. Bassett Co. of Shelton for over ten years, until the time of her retirement in 1995.

She was previously employed at Paralax Power Component Co. of Bridgeport for over 20 years and a Communicant of St. Michael Church, Derby. Mrs. Malyszko enjoyed gardening and was a talented seamstress, designing and fashioning much of her own clothing. She is survived by her devoted sons, Richard (Lori Kessler) Malyszko of Middlebury and Gregory (Roxie) Malyszko of Oxford; cherished grandchildren, Stephanie (Dan) Kiley of Naugatuck, Samantha (Chris) Paecht of Naugatuck, Sandra Malyszko of Naugatuck and Gregory Malyszko Jr. of Oxford; a great-grandson, Logan Ryan Testone of Naugatuck; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband of 54 years, Mrs. Malyszko was predeceased by sisters, Lodzia Grens, Jadwiga Prancuk, Felicia Prancuk and a brother, Stanislaw Zaniewski. Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, December 29, 2018, at 9:00 AM from the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM in St. Michael Church, 75 Derby Avenue, Derby.

Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Derby. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, December 28, 2018, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Online condolences may be made at www.
