Obituary for Marietta J. Barr Marietta J. Barr, 98, of Lebanon passed away on Saturday May 26, 2018 at Cedar Haven Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her first husband Harry A. Barr in 1959 and her second husband John Pollack in 1969. Marietta was born in Tyrone, PA on March 30, 1920 to the late Samuel E. and Tillie J. (Walls) Bradford.

She had been employed at the State of Pennsylvania where she had worked for the state hospital. She was a member of the Annville Church of the Brethren and of the PA Employees Benefit Trust. She enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling.

Surviving are her sons, Harry Barr, Jr., and his wife Genevieve of Huntingdon, Gene L. Barr and his wife Le Ann of Lebanon, Donald D. Barr and his wife Joan of Cleona, Gary L. Barr and his wife Susan of Lebanon, 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and a brother Clarence Bradford of Huntingdon. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Williamson, Florence Forte, and Viola Biddle, Bertha Pierce, and her brothers, Edward Bradford and Fred Bradford. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday May 30, 2018 at 11AM at Centre County Memorial Park, 1032 Benner Pike, State College, PA.

There will be a viewing held in the mausoleum from 10-10:30AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to her church, Annville Church of the Brethren, 495 E. Maple Street, Annville, PA 17003.
