Obituary for James “Jim” Unger James “Jim” Unger, 84, of Annville, died Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Esther (Foltz) Unger, to whom he would have been married 66 years this October. Born in Philipsburg, PA on July 1, 1933, he was the son of the late Edward J. and Evelyn (Hicks) Unger.

Jim graduated from Annville High School with the class of 1951. He was a veteran of the US Army, worked as a clerk for the US Government and later worked part time at LVC as a visiting team greeter. Jim was a member of Christ Church U.C.C. Annville, as well as the Annville American Legion.

He enjoyed local sports, riding bicycle and dancing. Surviving in addition to his wife are children Karen L. Unger, wife of Mitch Kirschbaum of New Cumberland, Lori U. Nalley, wife of George of Corinth, TX, and James E. Unger, husband of Robin of Russell, MA, grandchildren Tamara Heagy, Vanessa Taydus, wife of Justin, Eric Unger, and Nichole Carvalho, wife of Jeff, great grandchild Miles Carvalho, and a brother Robert Unger, husband of Elizabeth of Atlanta, GA. He was preceded in death by a brother Edward Unger and sister Ilean Agresta.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, May 7 at 12PM at Christ Church U.C.C. 200 S. White Oak Street, Annville, PA 17003. Visitation will be held from 10AM to 12PM. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family.
