Elener Hoffer, April 14, 1932 — April 28, 2018

Obituary for Elener M. Hoffer Elener M. Hoffer, 86, of Annville passed away on Saturday April 28, 2018 at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of Jay R. Hoffer, with whom she celebrated 68 years in marriage. Elener was born in Wiconisco, PA on April 14, 1932 to the late John and Sara E. (Yeager) Buffington.

She was retired from the H.B. Reese Company in Hershey. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, watching TV, playing BINGO, going to the casino, going to the Annville Senior Citizens Center, and participating in karaoke with her husband and friends. She loved spending time at her vacation home in Delaware.

She dedicated her life to her family and will be very much missed by all. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Jay R. Hoffer, Jr. and companion Annie Sebok, Carol L. Young and her husband Raymond , Sally A. Yeagley and her husband Gerald , Edward A. Hoffer and his wife Roberta, James R. Hoffer and his wife Kelly, Joseph R. Hoffer and his wife Linda, Jerry R. Hoffer and his wife Elizabeth, a daughter-in-law, Lynne Hoffer, 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and her brothers John Buffington and his wife Marlene, and Sam Buffington and his wife Ginnie. Proceeding her in death was son, John C., grandson, Joshua and sisters Shirley, Deana and Catherine.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 5, 2018 at 11AM from Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main Street, Annville. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. There will be a viewing held from 10AM until 11AM at the funeral home.
