Obituary for Danielle A. Garrett Danielle A. Garrett, 29, of New Cumberland and formerly of Lebanon, died unexpectedly of natural causes on Thursday June 21, 2018 in her residence. Born in Lebanon on August 29, 1988, she was the daughter of Phillip E. Garrett and the late Christie-Lyn Hansell Garrett. Danielle was employed as a speech therapist at Forest Park Health Center.

Danielle was a 2006 graduate of Cedar Crest High School. She received her bachelor’s degrees in speech therapy and psychology from California University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in speech therapy from West Chester University. She enjoyed swimming, kick-boxing, weight lifting, kayaking, going on cruises, taking silly selfies, and eating healthy, all the while aspiring to be a glittery mermaid.

She loved cats, especially her Zoey. Her thoughtful nature was so evident in the creative handmade gifts that she enjoyed making for people. Her family and friends were the most important to her.

Surviving in addition to her father, are her grandmothers, Marie Lentz Garrett of Annville, and Eva Betz Hansell of Florida; her boyfriend Matthew Mason of New Cumberland; her step-mother, Beth Henry-Garrett, and step-sisters, Audrey Rutt and Michelle Rutt of Elizabethtown, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 10AM at the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main Street, Annville. A viewing will be held on Thursday evening, June 28, 2018 from 6PM to 8PM at the funeral home.

Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), 120 Wall Street, 29th Floor, New York, NY 10005 or to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Road, Second Floor, Princeton, NJ, 08540.
