Marilouise Barr, 91, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2018. She was born on July 30, 1927 in Salinas and raised in San Juan Bautista. She was a ninth generation Californian, a descendent of the DeAnza Expedition.

Watching the SF Giants, Warriors basketball and spending time with her family was what she enjoyed doing most. She is survived by two sons, Jim and Charlie, and proud grandmother to four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and loving aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be held Monday, December 17, 2018 at Struve and Laporte Chapel, 41 W. San Luis Street, Salinas, CA.
