Richard Allan Martin, 69 of Salinas, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully on January 8, 2019. He was born on October 30, 1949. Richard was a US Army veteran, retired Firefighter of the City of Monterey, and owned Mr. Lubrication 10 minute oil-change center in Seaside for over 25 years.

Richard was dedicated and passionate about helping veterans of war. He sat on several committees of many veteran organizations & was a member of American Legion Post 593. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Madonna Del Sasso Church, 320 East Laurel Drive, Salinas, CA.

93906 Interment with Military Honors will follow 3:30p.m. at the California Central Coast Veterans Cemetery, 2900 Parker Flat Road Seaside, Ca. 93955. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the California Central Coast Veterans Cemetery, or The VA Defenders Lodge in Palo Alto, Ca.
