Richard Byron Anderson Sr. 89 of Salinas passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 3:00p.m. He was born June 8, 1929 in Longmont, CO. He proudly served in the United States Navy in the Korean War. Was a mechanic at Richardson Chevrolet for many years.

And worked at North Monterey County Unified School District as a School Bus mechanic until he retired. He loved water skiing, snow skiing, camping with family, messing around his garage making things and was an avid 49er fan. He was loved dearly by his family and friends.

(My my my) (yep yep yep) He is survived by his daughters, Sharyon Whitehead, Judith Peterson (Jim), Janette Countryman (Steve), Beverly Woolem (Gary) son, Richard Byron Jr., 9 grandkids and 21 great grandkids. Graveside Service will be held 11:00a.m. Friday, January 18, 2019 at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 18200 Damian Way, Salinas, CA. 93907.

Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 18200 Damian Way, Salinas, CA. 93907.
