Marilyn Kruse Logan March 06, 1943 – February 10, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Funeral services for Ms. Mae Marilyn Kruse Logan will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at Phillips Funeral Home in Gilbertown, AL with Reverend Bob Ramsey officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 until 11:00 prior to the service. Interment will be in the Advent Cemetery in Silas, AL.

Ms. Logan, age 75, of Silas, AL, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019, at Rush Specialty Hospital in Meridian, MS. She was born March 6, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois to Herbert Julius and Dorothy Augusta Kruse. She was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed quilting and crafts.

She is survived by her sons, Matthew A. Logan (Tammy) of Sunray, TX and Joe H. Logan (Carinthia) of Silas, AL; grandchildren, Tyrus Logan, Brandy Logan Morgan, Matthew Logan II, Michael Logan, Mariah Guy, and Micah Logan; and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Dorothy Kruse; husband, Oscar A. Logan; brother, Buddy Kruse; and sister, Gladys Goode. Serving as pallbearers will be Micah Joel Logan, Braxton Jowers, James Brock Guy, Edward Lee Sellers, Matthew Logan II, and Michael Shane Logan.

Honorary pallbearers include Eddie Eden and David Cook.
