Marjorie Ann Douthat went to be with Jesus on Wednesday (02/06/19), at her home in Bulls Gap. She had turned 80 on 08/01/18. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, and also attended Sunrise Baptist and volunteered at McDonald Mission Center.

She was preceded in death by her son, Paul Douthat; parents, Ronald and Edna Dawson; sister, Beverly Hobbs. She is survived by her daughters, Paula Douthat (Kelly Ricker), and Becky Falkner (John Falkner); grandchildren, Pamela Lamons, Tara Douthat (Harrison Daniel), Richard Johnson, Traci Bowens (Cody), Haley Douthat, Dylan Douthat; several great grandkids; her close circle of friends, special friends, a lot of whom looked up to her as a mother, as this woman touched many hearts! The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville.

Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor John Frietag and Pastor Gordon Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Philippi Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.
