Marjorie Louise Loveless (nee Gunsett), age 97, of Aurora, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018. She was born on May 2, 1921 in Brady Lake, Ohio, to Walter and Clara (nee Berker) Gunsett. Marge and her two siblings were raised in Chicago with a strong German Lutheran influence.

Marge married Glen Elwood Loveless of Oakland City, Indiana, in Chicago on May 14, 1939. Marge and Glen raised their 3 children in the Chicagoland area. Marge is survived by her loving children, Terry (Judy) Loveless and Danita Curry; daughter-in-law, Pauline Loveless; grandchildren, Don (Colleen) Loveless, Tracy (Nick) Havemann, Kerri (Scott) Combs, Sonjia Ramsey, Sharen Herbert, Tina (Jerry Wayne) Gabbard, Danny Curry and Chad Curry; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Loveless; parents, Walter and Clara (nee Berker) Gunsett; son, Allan Loveless; son-in-law, Ben Curry; siblings, Clearance “Buddy” Gunsett and Marita Janus. Marge was blessed with 16 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

She was known to her numerous nieces and nephews as “Aunt Margie”. She was thrilled to spend the last Thanksgiving with 2-year-old great-great-granddaughter, Elle, who quickly gave her the name G-Nana. Marge learned to be a seamstress from her mother, who was a custom bridal dress designer and seamstress.

She also loved to travel and could be ready to go anywhere at any time with her greatest adventure in 1962 when she traveled all by herself to England to attend her son Alan’s wedding to his English bride, Pauline. For the past 20 years, her greatest passion was being a foster volunteer for A.D.O.P. T in Naperville, Illinois.

Her passion was for the senior and special needs small dogs, which of course, she kept a few for herself. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service, 4:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 3000 Liberty Street, Aurora, Illinois. Interment Monday, June 4, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at Lincoln Memorial Park, Aurora, Illinois.

In lieu of flowers, Marjorie, would appreciate donations to A.D.O.P. T in Naperville so they can continue the great work she so supported and loved. Marge will have lots of furry friends to meet her at the Rainbow Bridge.
