Marjory Lou Haueter, passed away on October 14, 2018 in Lansing, MI. She was born on December 30, 1931 to Ernest and Lena (McCrumb) Haueter on the farm in Grand Ledge where Margie would live her entire life. Margie was a loving caregiver to her family and others; longtime office manager for Bouck and Stevenson Dentistry; lifetime member of First Congregational Church of Grand Ledge; and member of the Canada Settlement Country Club.

Margie was the last of 10 children, preceded in death by 4 brothers: Lloyd, John “Harvey”, and Ernest Jr. “Pete” Haueter, and 5 sisters: Hilah, Mildred “Verna”, Lavern, Gertrude, and Alice Lucille. She is survived by her special niece and caregiver, Joan Perry, great niece Patty (John) Curtis and nephew Jerry (Joyce) Gillett and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 – 11:00 a.m. at Peters & Murray Funeral Home, Grand Ledge, with interment to follow at Pioneer Cemetery, Oneida Twp. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Those wishing, contributions can be made to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan or American Heart Assoc.
