Jessie “Marie” Willadson, 81, passed away surrounded by her loving family on October 7, 2018. She was born January 19, 1937 in Summersville, Missouri, daughter of Benjamin H. and Jessie M. (Corter) Pittman. Marie was a member of Grand Ledge Church of the Nazarene and Grand Ledge Lioness Club.

She volunteered at Shared Pregnancy and Ledge Craft Lane; also enjoyed finding treasures at garage sales, gardening, canning, and was renowned for her delicious pies. Marie is survived by her children: Sherry (Gary Cranson) Willadson, Robert (Ruth) Willadson and Trudy (Sharon Tedford) Willadson; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, sister Bert (Willis) Willadson and her dearest friend Ginny Balgoyen.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, John Willadson (October 20, 2014), 5 brothers: Glen, Vern, Joe, Floyd, Chuck, and sister Martha. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Grand Ledge Church of the Nazarene, 3432 Jefferson Hwy. , with Pastor Nick Highland officiating.

Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Grand Ledge. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Peters & Murray Funeral Home, Grand Ledge. Those wishing, memorial contributions can be made to Shared Pregnancy, GL Church of the Nazarene or Grand Ledge Lioness Club.
