Mark James Trusso of North Port, Florida died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 just 21 days after his 55th birthday. He was born December 7, 1961 in Jamestown, New York to Matthew and Mary Louise (Anderson) Trusso. ¬¬ He was a Green’s Keeper at Lakeshore Country Club in Fairview, PA and South Hills Country Club in Busti, New York before moving to Florida in 2008 where he was self-employed.

He was a talented craftsman and did several beautiful ceramic tile projects for family and friends. He was always passionate about his quality of work. He would often start over, if it was not up to his standards.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, snorkeling, diving, golfing, playing the guitar and trivia. Mark, beloved son of Matthew and Mary Lou of North Port, FL , brother to Lynn (Jody) Bennett of Hastings, MI, Matthew (Jill) Trusso of Mayville, NY, Michael Trusso of Dunkirk, NY, Teresa Oshlick, Ashville, NY; father to Tara (Jason) VandeVelde of Falconer, NY, Amber (David) Seekings of Las Vegas, NV, Christopher Laurin of Jamestown, NY, Halona (Jeremy) Vincent of Chandler, AZ, Jill Holland of Girard, PA; grandfather to Lucas, Mia, Bella, Zachary and Jacob VandeVelde, Natalie and Joshua Seekings, Quynlyn and Ashlyn Vincent; uncle to 5 nieces, 4 nephews and great uncle to 11, will be greatly missed by his many friends and extended family. His loving friendship, generosity and genuine smile will remain in our hearts forever.

Mark was a member of the Sons of the AMVETS 2000 in Warm Mineral Springs where he held many posts. The family will be having a memorial service in summer 2017 in Jamestown, NY. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Mark James Trusso please visit our Sympathy Store.
