Obituary for Mark R. Jett Mark R. Jett, 62, of Davenport, Iowa, died Sunday, July 29, 2018, at ManorCare Health Services, Davenport. Services to celebrate Mark’s life will begin with a gathering from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, followed by a time of sharing at 1:30 p.m. Graveside services will immediately follow at Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Papa’s Crew Helping Vets.

Mark was born October 20, 1956, in Springfield, Illinois, the son of Richard and Norene (Smith) Jett. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He married Nancy Lynn Behan in 1981, with whom he had a daughter, Marissa.

The couple was later divorced. He enjoyed shooting pool, scuba diving, and music. Mark is survived by his daughter, Marissa Holan Jett of Bettendorf; a grandson, Owen Jett; a brother, Samuel Jett of Davenport; and nephews, Matthew, Paul “Timmy”, and Kiel Jett.
