Marlene Lora (White) Peach, 81, of Bristol completed her journey on Earth on September 21, 2018. Marlene was born in Waterville, Maine on July 20, 1937, the daughter of Maynard and Elizabeth (Drummond) White. Marlene had five siblings: Nancy Ripley, Ronald White, Brenda Bloss, Raymond White, and Alan White.

She had two children: Cheryl Ann (Peach) Bauer of Dover, Pennsylvania and Arthur William Peach, Jr. of Bristol, Connecticut and four granddaughters: Cheryl, Caitlin, Samantha, and Kelsey. She lived in Maine until 1972 when the family moved to Bristol, where she lived for the remainder of her life. She was married to the father of her children, Arthur William Peach, Sr. for 35 years.

The love of her life, though, was Tom Cefaratti with whom she found great joy. Marlene was a factory laborer most of her working years with her last job at O-Z/Gedney Foundry of Terryville. Her favorite musician was Eddy Arnold.

Her greatest trait was her devotion to her family and friends. If needed, Marlene would, under all circumstances, staunchly defend all those close to her. Her children are grateful for the compassion and excellent care she received while living at Village Green of Bristol.

Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville, CT is in charge of arrangements. Interment will be private. www.
