Marsha’s Obituary Marsha Veach, age 67, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Columbus Community Hospital. Memorial services are 10:30 am Thursday, February 28, at the Federated Church with Rev. Dr. Annika Lister-Shoope officiating.

Visitation is on Wednesday from 4-7 pm at McKown Funeral Home and continues on Thursday from 9:30-10:30 am at the church. In lieu of plants and flowers, memorials are suggested to the donor’s choice. Marsha Veach was born May 24, 1951 in Columbus, Nebraska to Kenneth and Pauline (Grant) Egger.

She received her education in Columbus and graduated from Columbus High in 1969. She began working at Dale-Vishay, where she worked for 45 years until her retirement in 2017. She was married to David Veach on December 8, 1972 in Yankton, SD.

She enjoyed snow skiing, 4-wheeling, boating and spending time with her family, friends and dogs. Marsha is survived by: Husband: David Veach of Columbus, NE Children: Clinton Veach of Columbus, NE; Macey (Jamie) Fischer of Columbus, NE Brothers: Brant (Lucy) Egger & Jim Egger both of Columbus She was preceded in death by her parents.
