Martha Rubino (nee: Fortunato), 91 of Jersey City, entered peacefully into eternal life on Sunday, December 16th with her children by her side. Born in Jersey City to the late Vito Fortunato & Christina (nee: Peluso), she was a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker.

Martha was a very special woman. Her mother passed away when she was 7 years old, she suddenly found herself being a mother to her 4 brothers. Always concerned for their well being.

she took care of each of them as only a mother would. She is predeceased by her husband, Patsy Rubino & brothers, Danny, Robert, Dominick & Anthony “Sonny” Fortunato. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children; Christina Rubino & Paul Rubino, her grandchildren; Michael & Tricia Rubino.

In addition she was special mother figure to her nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Mary19th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Co. (Use 14 Stagg St. for GPS tracking) A Funeral Mass will be offered at 12:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 344 Sixth St.,Jersey City.
