Marvin Cornelius Smith, 86, of Locust, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Carolinas HealthCare System NorthEast in Concord. Mr. Smith was born June 28, 1932 to the late Chester Dewey Smith and the late Nellie Mae Dick Smith. He was also preceded in death by wife, Caroleen Smith and sons, Michael and Scott Smith.

Arrangements are incomplete at this time. Survivors include son, Marvin “Rickey” (Brenda) Smith of Locust, NC. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Smith family.
