Obituary for Marvin LeRoy Barber Marvin LeRoy Barber, 83, of Park Hill, was born in Carroll County, Maryland to William and Nellie (Sisler) Barber and entered Heaven’s Gates on June 7, 2018 in Tahlequah with his loving family by his side. Marvin enlisted into the United States Army in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on May 2, 1952. He served his country until May 10, 1960 when he was honorably discharged.

He met and married the love of his life, Sue Ann Boyd, on June 3, 1955. Marvin is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Russell Barber. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Sue of the home; sons William “Bill” Barber, Bret Barber and wife Trish, Bart Barber, and Marvin “Buck” Barber and wife Becky, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, extended family and many friends.

A committal for Marvin will be held at noon, Thursday, June 14, 2018 in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery. Military honors will be observed. The family of Marvin Leroy Barber has entrusted his cremation and committal to Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home, Fort Gibson.
