Mary Ann Bilak (nee: Wasko), 72, of Englishtown, N.J., formerly of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 11, 2019, at Pinebrook Care Center in Englishtown, N.J. Mary resided most of her life in Bayonne where she was born and raised before relocating to Englishtown 9 years ago. While in Bayonne, Mary Ann worked as a home-health caregiver for the Bayonne Visiting Nurse Association and was also a crossing guard for the City of Bayonne. Mary Ann enjoyed the simple pleasures in life such as playing cards and watching weekly bowling tournaments or just socializing with her neighbors and taking long walks.

She will be deeply missed but not far from our hearts. She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Mary Wasko. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Maryann Hurley and husband Mark; Jennifer Macri and her husband Robert; her son Richard Bilak Jr. and wife Maria; and her 8 adored grandchildren, Sarah, Ella, Sean, Mark, Ava, Evan, Julia, and Michael.

A visitation will be held at the Dworzanski & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 13, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., with a Catholic wake service at 8:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are asked to gather at the funeral home on Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. to leave for Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington for interment.
