Mrs. Mary Catherine “Kitty” Geoghagan Bush passed away April 13, 2018, in Flippin, AR, after a lengthy illness. She was 90 years old. Kitty was born November 5, 1927, in Pinson, TN, to Ruby and Nyle Frye.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Daniel Lee Geoghagan and Alan Ford Bush. She is survived by her sister, Nancy Whitaker of Pinson, TN, and her sons, J. Daniel Geoghagan (Sue) of Marshall, AR, and William L. Geoghagan (Denise) of Alexandria, VA. She has 5 great-granchildren, Adeline Geoghagan, Nathaniel Geoghagan, Hannah Gardner, Taylor Staats, and Savannah Thames. Kitty worked at Waites’ Grocery, “The Only Store in the World That Backs Up to Hardy Street,” for several years. She worked for The Hattiesburg Clinic for over 20 years, most recently retired as office manager of The Childrens’ Clinic.

She managed The Cinema on Hardy Street. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church on Hardy Street (currently Hardy Street Baptist Church) for over 50 years. She was an officer and member of the American Business Womens’ Association (ABWA) local chapter.

Visitation will be at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg at 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, April 18, 2018. A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Ellisville City Cemetery in Ellisville, MS.
