Mary Clare’s Obituary Mary Clare Daniel Anderson age 81, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 3, at Hopewell United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Anderson was a native and life-long resident of Milledgeville. She was a retired educator. She was predeceased by her parents Clarence R. “Fish” Daniel and Rebecca B. Daniel; her sister, Patsy Mozo; and two brothers, Mike Daniel and Dutch Daniel.

She was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband of 62 years John L. Anderson, Jr., sons Andy Anderson (Jan) both of Milledgeville and Ben Anderson (Holly) of Albany, and a daughter Becky A. Cooper (Anthony) of Milledgeville, grandchildren, Daniel, Robert, John IV, and Noah, her brother Clarence “Buster” Daniel of MS, two sisters-in-law, Margie Hawkins and Jane Moses both of Milledgeville and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:30 until 2:30 at Moores Funeral Home.

Friends who wish may make contributions to Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund. Moores Funeral Home & Crematory has charge of arrangements.
