Memorial services for Mary E. (Flurry) Bustillo, 58, of Zavalla, will be held Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Abundant Life Church on Main St. in Zavalla. Mrs. Bustillo was born April 21, 1960 in Lufkin, Texas, the daughter of Billy Glenn Flurry and Vera Jean (Burrous) Flurry, and went to her heavenly home on Monday, July 23, 2018 at her residence. Mary was well known in the community for her ability to throw great yard sales.

She was such a happy, beautiful person with a personality that would make a crowd laugh. Mary loved being outside with her goats, chickens, and dogs on her little animal farm. Also, she loved to go yard-selling, shopping at re-sale shops, and going out to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings in Lufkin.

Mary also loved spending time with her family. She is survived by the love of her life, Joe Bustillo and all of his family; mother, Vera Jean Flurry of Zavalla; sister and best friend, Deborah Flurry Hale of Zavalla; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Clifford Milligan of Lufkin; nephew, Chris Flurry of Zavalla; nephew and fiancé, James Perkins and Kori Basham of Lufkin; niece, Amanda Faye Perkins of Lufkin; niece, Kaylynn Joiner of Zavalla; four great-nieces, Evie and Briley Perkins of Zavalla, and Kalie and Katie of Lufkin; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mary was preceded in death by her father, Billy Flurry; and her grandparents.

Special memorials may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 W. Frank Ave. , Lufkin, Texas 75904 or to the American Cancer Society, 1599 Clifton Road, N.E., Atlanta, GA 30329. Shafer Funeral Home, Lufkin directors.
