Mary Frances (Mossbarger) Adams, 97, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018. She was born on December 7, 1921, in Pickaway County, Ohio, the daughter of John W. and Nellie M. (Webb) Mossbarger. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary to VFW 8437 and a member of MOCA.

She was preceded in death by her husband John P. Adams, infant son, Ronald Lee Adams, her parents, brother and sister-in-law, R. Leo (Betty) Mossbarger. She is survived by two sons: John L. Adams of… Read More » Enon, and George E. (Jeanne) Adams of Springfield; two daughters: Susan (Tim) Crozier of Enon, and Karen L. Adams (Jim Long) of Enon; grandchildren: Brian, Sherri, Kenny, T.J., Adrea, Arthur, Katie and John; step grandchildren: Angela, Beckye, Andrew and Anastasia; several great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 5-7:00 pm in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME where a celebration of her life will be held on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. with Pastor Jim Britton officiating.

Burial will follow in the Enon Cemetery. She was known to be quick to laugh and always appreciative. Mary loved to crochet, read, travel and play cards.
