Obituary for Mary K. Bennett Mary K. Bennett 84 of Stroudsburg, Pa. died on Thursday Jan. 17, 2019 at her home.

She was the widower of Robert J. Bennett who died in 1993. Born in Tobyhanna Twp. , Pa.

she was the daughter of Albert and Myrtle (Knecht) Smith. Mary was a lifelong resident of the Stroudsburg area. She was employed at the Pocono Record in Stroudsburg for 37 years retiring in 1993 at their controller.

Mary was a long time member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Stroudsburg, Pa. Mary is survived by a sister Margaret H. Neipert of Stroudsburg, Pa. and a brother Harry Smith of Tobyhanna and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her siblings: Virgie Knecht, Donald, Allen and Paul Smith. Funeral services will be held on Saturday Jan. 26, 2019 at 10:30am from the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th.
