MARY LOUISE GIPSON, 92, of Springfield, passed away quietly on Saturday afternoon, January 12, 2019 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on March 31, 1926, the daughter of the late Ben and Ruth (Pearman) Kraus. Mary enjoyed gardening and yoga and being a homemaker.

She is survived by four sons, Paul (Dee), John, David (Debbie), and Tim (Rhonda); five grandchildren, Jennifer, Fay, Rachel, Paul, and Kristy; seven great grandchildren, Amanda, Charity,… Moriah, Joshua, Isaac, Josiah, and Jeremiah; a brother, Ben Kraus; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Gipson in 2013 and siblings, Shirley Cozad, Frances Frost, and Kenny Jacobs. Mary’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
