Mary Lou Cookas passed away at home September 15, 2018. She will be dearly remembered by family and friends. Preceded in death by the love of her life Alexander Cookas and her dear friend and companion Richard “Zeke” Russ.

Also preceded by her parents Charles Lewis, Sr. and Caroline Lewis, her brother Charles Lewis, Jr. and her maternal and paternal grandparents. Mary Lou was the “infamous” entertainer at Al’s Steakhouse and Drake’s Farm, where she played the organ and piano. She loved to play her signature song “Alley Cat” on her beloved Hammond organ.

As per her wishes no services will be held. Memorials to the Phyllis J. Bogdan Scholarship, c/o JTHS Foundation, 300 Caterpillar Dr, Joliet, IL would be appreciated.
