Mary Margaret Gillow, 65, of Sidney, NY passed away unexpectedly at Bassett Healthcare Network A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta, NY on July 20, 2018. Mary was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 13, 1952; the daughter of William J. and June (Anderson) Ehrhardt. Growing up, Mary enjoyed spending her summers with her family in Pine Lake Park in Caroga Lake.

Lastly, Mary became a self-employed Home Health Aide in-and-around the Sidney area as she took care of many elderly people who became more like family than friends. She was an avid Yankees fan who also loved her cats.

Mary Margaret will always be remembered as a woman with a heart larger than herself that was fair and not judgmental to everyone she met. Mary is survived by her daughter; Kelly Gillow of Sidney, NY; mother, June Hein of Sidney, NY; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Matthew, Elijah and Gabriel; brothers, William Ehrhardt of Boca Raton, FL and James Ehrhardt of New Smyrna, FL; uncle, Ronald Anderson of Vacaville, CA, step-sister, Maureen Herman of Baldwin, NY and best friend Kim Carlson. She was predeceased by her father, William J. Ehrhardt; step-father, Eugene Herman; and special long-time friend, Helen Weeden.

Services are under the care of the Johnston Funeral Home in Morris, NY and will be held privately and at the convenience of her family.
