Obituary for Mary Matilda Schreiber Mary Matilda Schreiber, 94, of Greensboro, residing at Homestead Manor in Denton, passed away on November 28, 2018. Born January 19, 1924, in Greensboro, she was the daughter of Frank and Olive Hobbs. Mrs. Schreiber with her husband owned Schreiber’s Grocery Store for 25 years.

She was a member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church in Greensboro. She is survived by her beloved family, her daughter Jeanie Schreiber of Greensboro; three granddaughters, Lora (John) Breeding of Greensboro, Christi Leister (Scott Daisey) of Camden, Delaware and Paige Cozzi of Winston Salem, North Carolina; eight great grandchildren, Morgan Stafford, Riley Stafford, Gracie Dicus, Timothy Leister, Brayden Leister, Catelyn Leister, Nathan Cozzi, Andrew Cozzi and three great great grandchildren Carter Mellins, Jude Walls, and Piper Cozzi and two more on the way. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, they all adored her.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Francis Schreiber, a daughter Sheila A. Schreiber and grandson in law Patrick Leister. A funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery at 2:– PM.
