HOLYOKE Mary P. (Lucey) Coffey, age 79, of Holyoke, died Sunday September 23, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center. Mary was born in Holyoke and was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and Providence School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse for many years at Providence Hospital and later Holyoke Pediatrics Associates, where she retired from.

Mary was an avid traveler and enjoyed time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis A. Coffey in 1989. She is survived by two sons: Michael J. Coffey and his wife Mary Jane of Westfield, and Timothy J. Coffey of Holyoke; two daughters: Kelly F. Coffey and Kathleen P. Poirier and her husband Bernie, all of Holyoke; 8 grandchildren; a brother, John Lucey of South Hadley; and several nieces and nephews.

Mary was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Roche. The funeral will be held Thursday September 27 in Our Lady of the Cross Parish Church at 10:00am. Burial will follow in St. Jerome Cemetery.

Calling hours are Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00pm in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke.
