Obituary for Mary M. Pfeiffer Mary Margaret Pfeiffer, 86, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, April 17th, 2018 with family by her side. Born in Portsmouth, Ohio to James and Helen Fordyce and a graduate of Portsmouth High School, Mary embarked on many adventures with her beloved husband Phil and their four children before settling in Dublin in 1980. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandma; Mary loved reading, golfing, playing lots of bridge, and watching the Buckeyes.

Mary and Phil were loyal members of Northwest United Methodist Church in Dublin and will be missed by the entire community. Mary is preceded in death by her son, Michael Pfeiffer. She is survived by her devoted husband, Phil; daughters Pamela Melvin, Priscilla Lord, and Jennifer Goehring; sons in law Rick Melvin and Fred Lord; daughter in law LeeAnn Pfeiffer; Grandsons Michael and David Melvin, Matt and Josh Pfeiffer; Granddaughter Ashley Van Goehring; and her seven great grandchildren.

They will eternally miss her love, laughter, and her wonderful cards. Mary will have a private ceremony for family, arrangements by Rutherford Funeral Home at Powell. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mary’s name to the Ohio Health Foundation’s Kobacker House, 180 E Broad St, 31st Floor, Columbus, Ohio, 43215, where she spent her last peaceful day.
