Obituary of Mary Kraeger Mary “Nadine” Kraeger, age 90, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Lake Regional Health Systems, Osage Beach, Missouri. Nadine was born July 28, 1928 near Collins, Missouri. She was the daughter of William “Bill” Tillery and Ethel.

She is survived by her son Mark Dickey of Osage Beach Missouri, step daughters Lisa Swetman of Baton Rouge Louisiana and Susan Naughton of LaPlata Missouri, great nephew Richard Quick and wife Sherrill and son Quade, two step grandchildren Kara and Taylor Naughton. Nadine was preceded in death by husband Charles Bowman, second husband Thomas Dickey and third husband Verl Kraeger, her parents, brother Herman, niece Donna Quick and great niece April. Born on a farm near Collins, Missouri, Nadine traveled to school by horseback.

She went to college at Bolivar Bible college. She taught school and eventually moved to Kansas City, Missouri and entered the insurance field. As an underwriter for Employers Reinsurance she became the highest ranked woman in her division.

She and husband Tom lived at Lake Wakomis in Kansas City and spent many years entertaining friends at their lake house. She and Tom retired to Panama City Beach Florida during which time they cared for her mother, spent time on the beach and going on cruises. She was also president of her condo association.

After Tom’s passing, she married Verl and relocated to east Texas. Upon Verl’s death in 2014 she relocated to Osage Beach and spent 4 years as a part of the Garden Gate Estates community and member of the St. George Episcopal Church in Camdenton Missouri. She loved German Shephard dogs and roses, bingo, bible study, and crossword puzzles, was active in church and with volunteer groups.

Inurnment will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2018 with her family at Benton Green Cemetery, 501-503 State Highway E, Osceola, Missouri near Roscoe, Missouri. In lieu of flowers she requested that donations be made to the St. Joseph Indian School www. stjo.org and or the St. George Episcopal Church in Camdenton, Missouri www.
