Obituary for Maxine B. Russell Mrs. Maxine B. Russell, age 98, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 in Muskegon. She was born in Muskegon on March 12, 1920 to Daniel and Selma (Anderson) Semelbauer. Maxine enjoyed cooking, traveling, and being outdoors.

On October 19, 1940, Maxine married Norman C. Russell and he preceded her in death on April 13, 1994. She is survived by one grandson, Daniel Russell, Jr.; one sister, Doris Doud; one niece, Judy Salsbury; and one nephew, Jeff (Tammy) Meyers. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Russell, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Kathy Russell; brother, Melvin Semelbauer; two sisters, Ardith Bregovits and Jeanne Meyers; and her faithful white German Shepard, Buttons.
