Obituary for Wilbur F. “Bill” Auburn Wilbur F. “Bill” Auburn, age 99, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 in Spring Lake. He was born on August 11, 1918 to Charles and Otellia (Elkie) Auburn in Rothbury, MI. Bill was a hardworking and successful accountant but his favorite job was owning both A & W Restaurants in Lakeside and North Muskegon.

He was a life time member of the National Association of Accountants. On October 14, 1939 he married Jane McCaleb at Grace Lutheran Church and she survives him sharing together in marriage for 78 years. Other survivors include daughter-in-law, Vickie Auburn; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by 3 sons, Charles Auburn, David Auburn and William Auburn; sister, Anita (Percy) Wood, sister-in-law, Ruth (George) Abraham and brother-in-law, Bob (Thelma) McCaleb. There will be a private family graveside service with a public memorial service announced at a later date.
