Maxine Louise Ettinger, 95, of Warren died Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Cambridge Warren of Warren, PA. Maxine was born November 21, 1922 in Shawmut, PA, to the late Norman and the late Minnie (Zoebrist) Matthews. Maxine was a member of the Garden Club, enjoyed line dancing, and worked as a secretary at Beaty Junior High School.

She was also a member of the Trinity Memorial Episcopal church. Her true joy in life was spending time with her friends and family. She is survived by her three children, Gayle McDonald, Jon Ettinger, and Kim Holmes; 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Gail Ettinger. The family would like to thank Maxine’s “second family” at Cambridge Warren, for allowing their mother to always feel at home. The family has requested memorial donations be made to Hospice of Warren County, 2 W Crescent Park, Warren, PA 16365.
